Back to homeEPISODE I...Telling about self to others is one of the toughest things, because it should be balanced between how much and what should be said. As they say too much is too bad and too less is too little. The person who is listening to you should not get bored listening to you, for the orator every small step and achievement in his life is really great even though it's true, but not necessarily true for the listener. Now you understand it's really a tough job to do. Well to be brief and keep your interest in tact, I was born in basavanagudi of Bangalore. My schooling and graduation was done in Bhadravathi, 18 Kms off from Shimoga. My dad was working in VISL (a subsidiary of SAIL) so I studied there. I was born in middle class family and saw all the struggles of a middle class family of India. My parents were from Bangalore, my mum's father (Grandpa Parashuram) was a great freedom fighter of Karnataka, I was really influenced my him in several way of my life. I studied Pre School and 7 years in SAV (Sri Adichunchanagiri Vidyavardhaka School) in English medium, further my high school (8 to 10) was in PTHS (Paper town high school). I did my 10 + 2 and Graduation in SMVSc (Sir M V Vishweshwariah Science College). I was a good student though not very good and not too bad, just an ordinary student, very shy and humble. I joined MSc [Industrial chemistry] and discontinued with in 1 year, as I really lost interest in those subject, mean while I had earned a scholarship at NIIT for its GNIIT course and was doing in Shimoga. EPISODE II...In Shimoga my mentor was Vinod V, I learnt my basics from him, and he was really one of the good mentors who struggled a lot to make his students understand what they want. It was a good start, and lots of credits to him. He now teaches in NIIT near Thrissur. I found computers really interesting, I was really fascinated by it, it was most resembling to one of hobby painting, where a painter decides what to paint (requirement analysis & Functional specs), designs (High level design and low level design), painting (coding), verifies the painting and perfects it (testing and bug fixing) and allows it to dry and hangs in nice place (installation and implementation) So the love of computers made me to leave my master and jump into computers. It was not an easy decision I two nearly two days to decide on that, because lots of things were in stake on that decision. Pressure at family, loss of face among friends and near ones. But since my passion was at stake I choose my passion and left to Bangalore. Arrival in Bangalore, I completed NIIT in Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore. EPISODE III...Though I had to struggle initially for getting job in Bangalore, my first major break was in Asian CERC [Oct 16, 2000]. Asian CERC influenced me a lot in the way of thinking in Software, thanks to my mentor Sanjay Gupta, who was the Executive director of that company, to whom I was reporting. His thinking influenced me a lot in the way understanding the client needs, writing efficient and systematic code, understanding how well process can helps us and the understanding that software is just a tool to develop programs. I was there for 2 years 2 months, and proceeded to Join HCL (DSL) in 2002 December. I was working for Deutsche Bank operations (Trading Operations) I had got a very good exposure in working for big company, good process architecture for developing building, testing, and UAT and releasing process. Mean while I did my MCA. In 2004 dec I left HCL and joined IBM, but was not happy in working for non Microsoft tech. So I joined mindtree in Feb. 2004. It's a good friendly company. Onsite exposure at London and Holland made me to learn the culture and about the people from other continents.. It gave me zeal to make something better in our life. MY interests ...Painting was one of my favorite interests from my school days, I have done lots of oil painting from my child hood mostly on Indian mythological characters and most of them are on Ganesha and Krishna. Two personalities which influenced me a lot, in the way I leave today, and the way we have to lead a good life. Astro physics for my second hobby from my high school days, star gazing and seeing the stars and naming them was one my favorite time pass, I wish to see a day we move between planets just we move between continents today. Hope some day it will happen. Misc. I have to mention the impact of being in Karnataka that is exposure to different parts of South India, it made me to learn nearly six languages Sanskrit, Kannada, telugu, Hindhi and tamil.
